PaYment options

Options for payment are outlined below. Since we are dealing with 3 different countries and currencies, this can get awkward, especially when it comes to refunds. It is one reason we encourage people who cannot take a trip to postpone it a season. It is beneficial to the customer as they do not lose a deposit or pay any penalties.  

1) Credit Card (via Stripe) No discount
2) Canadian E-transfer 3.5% discount applied to final payment
3) Personal Check (Canadian or USD) or Money order. March 1 to October 1 only. 3.5% discount applied to final payment
4) Bank Transfer including using Wise or Remitly. 3.5% discount applied to final payment
5) Cash at border, USD only. 3.5% discount

We have no bank account in the USA, so payment options like Venmo cannot be used.

Refunds to US customers are usually handled via money orders or bank transfers. Occasionally we may use a new customer to send a check to one being refunded, if it is mutually convenient. Canadians, we can take care of using etransfer.

Paying by Mailing a Check or Money Order (Mar 1 to Sep 30 only)

Money Orders need to be made out to "Paul Beddows". USD or Canadian and have to arrive between Feb 15 and Oct 15 in any given year.

Checks need to be made out to "France Chouinard". USD or Canadian (use widget at page bottom)

Note: I may, on occasion, request deposit checks to be made out to myself (Paul Beddows) to provide with funds to pay for things like Web hosting, RV Show fees, etc. If you get a request to do that, it is normal.

As long as they arrive between Feb 15 and Oct 15 in any given year, they need to be mailed to:

As of March, 2026, postage for Canada was $1.75.

Paying by Bank Transfer, Wise or Remitly (Canadian or USD)

Both Remitly or Wise work well, but Canadians will still find e-transfer easier. 

Unless you already use Wise, I find Remitly easier to use. As long as you use the bank transfer option or US debit card or Apple Pay option, you are eligible for the 3.5% discount. DO NOT USE CREDIT CARD OPTION. If you want to pay with a credit card, see the credit card option earlier on this page.
